Shared Resources
The Shared Resources at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC) are currently a network of specialized service facilities, also referred to as core facilities, that facilitate an investigator's ability to conduct cancer research. These services are also available to other investigators within and outside the University who adhere to usage guidelines. The Shared Resources are funded in large part by the OSUCCC Cancer Center Support Grant from the National Cancer Institute, the OSUCCC, partnerships with various University colleges and departments, and by established chargeback systems.
Through a collaborative affiliation, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) have made available to researchers several unique and valuable core services in the areas of research-grade and GMP-grade vector production, translational trials development and support assays, and GTP-compliant cleanroom cell manipulations.
