Dr. Doseff's laboratory is interested in elucidating the mechanisms of cell death and survival during innate immunity and cancer. We explore various molecular and biochemical mechanisms that regulate cell death. Furthermore, we also concentrate on different signal transduction pathways that control apoptosis. In the recent past, we have extended our research to study the role of pro and anti-apoptotic molecules during differentiation as well as identification of natural compounds and their mechanisms of action as potential anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory agents.
