OSUCCC / CCHMC The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC) and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) Cancer Consortium has made available to researchers at OSU and CCHMC several unique and valuable core services in the areas of research-grade and GMP-grade vector production, translational trials development and support assays, and GTP-compliant cleanroom cell manipulations. Services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. Submission Guidelines: |

| The CCHMC VVC offers production of research-grade retroviral and lentiviral vectors, generation of stable producer lines, and, in coordination with the TTDSL, non-GMP quality control testing including vector titer by functional assay or PCR, sterility, RCR and RCL testing. Research-grade AAV and adenoviral vectors are made available through a collaboration with the Columbus Research Institute. Retrovirus for clinical application is produced in the CCHMC Vector Production Facility, which is a validated GMP cleanroom for the production of viral vectors for Phase I/II clinical studies in compliance with FDA cGMP. ![]() The CCHMC TTDSL is a CLIA/CAP accredited lab providing assays in support of translational research. Molecular based assays include LAM and LM vector insertion, mycoplasma, and multiple PCR based assays. Cellular based assays include clonogenicity, Fanconi Anemia complementation, endotoxin and tailored assays for protein function as well as a normal donor cell repository for IRB approved research. The TTDSL coordinates with the VVC and CML to provide product release testing. Contact Us:

CCHMC Cell Manipulations Laboratory![]() The CCHMC CML is a validated GMP cleanroom for FDA GTP compliant processing of “more than minimally manipulated” human tissues. The facility can accommodate two concurrent fully segregated projects. CML services may be tailored to the needs of the investigator and range from Cleanroom Use Only, to Full Service Production which may include Cleanroom Use, Process Development, Production Support, Product Release Testing, Raw Materials Release, and Quality Assurance (QA) Release.
