Welcome to the Nucleic Acid Shared Resource at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC). We are located in rooms 236 and 285 on the second floor of the Biomedical Research Tower (BRT) at 460 West 12th Avenue.

The goal of the Nucleic Acid Shared Resource is to facilitate cancer research by providing high quality, cost effective, timely and reliable support for the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Specifically, the Nucleic Acid Shared Resource provides instrumentation and expertise for DNA sequencing, mutation and polymorphism screening, genotyping, real-time PCR, RNA/DNA extraction, imaging, and DNA/RNA synthesis support. The laboratory also offers expertise to investigators for consulting and assisting in experimental designs.

Additionally, the facility supports the development of novel methodologies and applications relevant to cancer research and functions as a training and education center.
